Neymar leads Brazil to top spot in Group A

Joel Matip became the first Cameroonian not named Samuel Eto'o to score in a World Cup
Brasilia, BRAZIL- Brazilian superstar Neymar added two more goals to lead the hosts past Cameroon 4-1 and into the Round of 16. Neymar now has four goals in three career World Cup matches. Brazil also got goals from a newly mustachioed Fred and sub Fernandinho. Cameroon's tally came off the foot of Joel Matip.

The Barcelona striker struck first, easily laying in a cross from Luiz Gustavo in the 17th minute. Cameroon, to their credit, responded well and got an equalizer from Matip off a cross from Allan Nyom less than ten minutes later.

But Neymar refused to accept a draw (and what would have been a second place finish had that result held) and struck back in the 34th minute. From that point on, the match was all Brazil. In the second half Fred headed in a David Luiz cross for the two goal advantage. The nail in the coffin came from halftime replacement Fernandinho in the 85th minute.
Neymar's fourth goal gave him the most of any player in this World Cup so far
Brazil held on to win Group A with 7 points and will face Chile in the Round of 16 while Cameroon will be heading home winless.
